It seems everyone wants to be Snapchat these days.
Japanese messenger Line, which is immensely popular in Southeast Asia, just announced its next update will include posts that vanish after 24 hours.
The update, which will come first to Android before iOS in the coming days, will allow you to mark a post on your Timeline feed for self-destruction.
That means you can either choose to make a post stay, or disappear after 24 hours, by tapping the clock icon next to "post."

Line's timeline is similar to Facebook's and Instagram's feed. Fellow Asian messenger WeChat also has the same timeline feature, allowing the messengers to do double duty as a social network as well as messaging app. Read more...
