Never before has the adage "better late than never" held more truth than when a man checked his mail to find a postcard, sent in 1966.
Tim Duffy of South Australia was checking his mail recently when he noticed a postcard that was addressed to a Robert Giorgio. The tardily-delivered postcard was sent exactly 50 years ago from Papeete, Tahiti.
Speaking with The Advertiser, Duffy said "It's fresh enough although it is a bit faded and it's got some damage to the top left, which looks like a bit of water damage."
