Mum accidentally buys hilariously rude t-shirt for daughter

LONDON — Buying clothes for family members is something of a minefield.

Not only do you have to make sure the size is right, but you've also got to be 100% certain they're actually going to like the damn thing.

It's also a good idea to double-check the pattern.

Twitter now has an emoji for India's 'Bigg Boss' TV show

Millions of Indians who tune in to their TV sets every night to watch the latest season of 'Bigg Boss' — the Indian adaptation of 'Celebrity Big Brother' — will also be able to express themselves on Twitter using a special Bigg Boss branded emoji.

Twitter announced on Tuesday that it has rolled out an emoji for 'Bigg Boss' TV show which premiered its 10th season on Sunday. Users will now see 'Bigg Boss'’ iconic eye icon when they use hashtags like #BiggBoss, #BiggBoss10 and #BB10. Though Twitter now actively uses emojis for things like popular sporting events, 'Bigg Boss' is the first Indian TV show to get its own branded emoji.  Read more...

This Arabic billboard is massively trolling Donald Trump

A black billboard has appeared alongside a highway in Michigan carrying white Arabic lettering that ridicules Donald Trump and his anti-Muslim rhetoric.

The sign, situated along I-94 in Dearborn, says: “Donald Trump doesn’t know what this means, but he’s scared of it anyway.” The only words in English are the Republican candidate's name and a website, trumpisscared.org.

Should you always unfollow your ex after a breakup?

LONDON — I could feel the dread welling inside me as I scrolled through my Facebook feed. I knew I'd see his name; I knew the effect it would have on me, but somehow I couldn't tear myself away.

"Unfollow him," people had said to me at the time of our breakup. "Just delete him — it's kinder on yourself," they said.

But, I wasn't convinced it was kinder. 

I knew that if I remained friends with an ex on Facebook, if I kept following him on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, I would be facing up to the truth of the situation. I'd see photos of his new girlfriend, which would snap me out of any thoughts of us getting back together. It was tough, but I told myself I needed to see it.
