The internet is celebrating this 6-year-old's powerful response to someone calling her brother 'weird'

LONDON — When a girl at school told 6-year-old Lex that her autistic brother Frank was weird, she was left feeling upset and confused. 

When Lex tried to explain that her older brother had autism, the girl didn't understand what she meant.

Having recently joined the student council, Lex decided to write a letter to address the lack of awareness of autism at her school in the south of England.

 Her mother, Sophie Camilleri, posted the message to Facebook, where it has since gone viral:
